ON SERIALITY takes place at the A.D. White House on the main campus of Cornell University. Andrew Dickson White, Cornell University’s first president and co-founder, had his Victorian villa built for his use as president of the university in 1871. Today, the A.D. White House is the home of the Society for the Humanities.
From downtown Ithaca, the A.D. White House is very easy to reach by bus (TCAT): Line 10 (only on weekdays, stop Goldwin Smith Hall), Lines 30, 32, 70, 72 (stop Statler Hall or Rockefeller Hall). Bus fare for single ride is $1.50 – it’s helpful to have dollar bills and/or quarters, since you don’t get any change.
There are several short-term parking options on main campus. The meters are in operation till 5pm on Friday, Saturday is free. For easy access to the A.D. White House, we recommend the parking lots at Willard Straight Hall or Johnson Art Museum.
